Health tips- medicinal benefits of green tea on your face

Green tea has antioxidants that are beneficial to body in many ways such as even treat acne.



It is one of the most natural ways to help the skin appear brighter and flawless. Below are few tips on how to get a glowing skin using green tea.


Tea scrub: After drinking your green tea, take the tea bag out and cut it open. Empty the contents into a bowl and add honey to make a skin softening scrub.

Tea eye mask: Toss the tea bag into the fridge (after drinking it) and place the cool tea bags on the eyes for a few minutes or soak cotton pads in a cup of cold green tea, cut the cotton pads into half and place them under the eyes to treat dark circles and puffy eyes.

Tea drinks: Add green tea to your drinking regime as it not only keeps your body hydrated but can also fight viruses and bacteria.

Tea facial: Make a rejuvenating mask using green tea, mix 2 teaspoons of yogurt with a teaspoon of ground green tea leaves or green tea powder. Apply on the face for 20 minutes then rinse with water. This mask will help brighten and even out the skin tone.

Tea cleanser: Add a teaspoon of green tea into your cleanser or face wash. Massage it into the skin gently and leave for 5 minutes then rinse off for a clean and clear skin.
